Flights to Egypt, UAE and Maldives resumed

According to decision by the RF Government, effective from 8 Sep, 2020, appointed Russian and foreign airlines restart regular flights to:

Cairo (Egypt) and back three times a week;

Dubai (UAE) and back twice a week;

Male (Maldives Republic) and back twice a week.

Schedule of announced flights including time, date and other operation questions should be clarified with the appropriate airlines.

Several days earlier the RF Government allowed to resume international flights to the United Kingdom, Turkey and Tanzania. These flights are operated out of Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and Rostov-on-Don to London and Istanbul. 

The plan of international flights was expanded on 10 Aug, 2020, so people can now fly to Turkish Dalaman, Bodrum and Antalya. Regular flights to Switzerland were revived on Aug 15, 2020. List of Russian cities, which were permitted to operate international flights, was added with Kazan, Kaliningrad and Novosibirsk.

Effective from August, 2020, international flights to/from Russia are operated by 11 Russian airlines and by 5 foreign ones.  

Federal Air Transport Agency will continue to negotiate with foreign aviation authorities on resuming flights in line with the appropriate appointments by the RF Government.  

Kindly note that all people coming to the Russian Federation from foreign countries must follow the quarantine regulations prescribed by Rospotrebnadzor             as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.
